Intuitive Perception

Is intuitive perception and for what purpose do we experience it?

Intuitive perception –an inner sense or “feeling”-  comes to us before our minds have the chance to name or interpret what we are seeing or hearing. It’s a perception that is outside the flow of our ordinary and conditioned thoughts, in a state where the ego does not intervene, and which permits an inner connection with an intelligence that transcends ours. Intuitive perception gives us insights into our personal destiny. The particularity of intuitive perception is that it comes to us effortlessly and without intellectual exercise.

Does God Hear Our Prayers?

Does God hear our prayers and will He ever answer them?

Supposing that God did indeed hear and answer all our prayers, all our demands resulting from our extremely limited view of the world -let’s imagine for an instant that God took into account the caprices of each human being and that He did in fact yield to all the pleadings and whims – could we then think of God as all-powerful?  Rather He would be a God of unprecedented weakness, a God in which it would be impossible to trust. Expecting God to do all this is far from understanding His magnitude, and attributing to Him nothing more than a human vision. God is the mastermind, the Creator of all existence, and only He knows the proper order of things as a Whole. He does answer prayers but not always in the way we expect, or in the way that is immediately perceivable, but in the way that promotes harmony and unity for all.

Out of Body Experience

In our sleep and in other circumstances, when we feel ourselves leaving our body and going somewhere else, who/what is doing the travelling?

We all have the awareness that despite being in a body and identifying ourselves with it, we are something else in reality. It’s an “awareness” that is capable of separating from the body, and observing, without need of the physical organs or senses. This “awareness” has the ability of going beyond the body, which is limited to a three dimensional low vibrational field, and accessing other dimensions which resonate higher vibrations and are therefore non-physical.  In other words, there is an “energy” part of us that is higher vibrational then the physical part of us, and even the mind part, and can access higher vibrational fields or dimensions, or travel within the physical realm but as that “separate” energy.

The Infinite…

Have you ever felt the Infinite?

Defining the Infinite is not an easy task seeing that very nature of thought is to separate all that we perceive in a linear time frame. And yet, we know that Existence lies beyond our concept of time, beyond all theories, and even beyond the mind. An understanding of the Infinite cannot be obtained but by an intuitive manner, through a process in which we perceive no past or future –where we ”sense” only timelessness- a process which permits us to see that Existence is nothing else than what has never been before.

Psychoanalysis and Ego

What is your view on psychoanalysis?

Wanting to know more about our person and the situations from the past that have contributed to making us what we are now, is not an unhealthy curiosity in itself. However, it is important to keep in mind that the information we obtain from such sessions, permits us to know more about our person, the ego-based content, and not our true selves. Psychoanalysis is but a first step. If we want to know who we truly are, we have to undergo a further step, and that is to leave behind this ego content once we recognize it for what it is…

How Are We “Conditioned’?

How are we “conditioned”, and can we ever completely free ourselves from it?

Wherever we are or go, we carry with us an image of ourselves. We create and re-create this image based on our thoughts, words and actions. This image was progressively installed in our minds by the influence of our culture, education, traditions, nationality, and all the things we identify ourselves with. With time, we develop certain habits and a certain structure of thought that is the origin of our behavioural patterns, which are very difficult to break free from. Our choices then, become very restrictive and our habits become the boundaries of our world. Freedom from this conditioning can only be done by gaining awareness of how our thoughts are formed, especially the persistent negative thoughts which we have been identifying ourselves with.

Humanity: Evolution or Regression

You talk often about the evolution of humanity, but I feel like we are living an era of regression, an era of a great loss of important values.

What is lost at the level of the physical is gained at the level of true Essence. The Essential never disappears; what bears true value subsists forever. Each direct experience with the transitory nature of the physical, gives us a new opportunity to appreciate what possesses real value and helps us to discern the Essential from the temporary or illusionary – that which is perpetually changing and non-lasting. It helps us recognize and appreciate the timeless –that which was, is and will ever be.
